Also if anyone is interested, St. Peter’s Health Partners is offering a FREE year-long condition-specific lifestyle change program aiming to prevent or delay the onset of Type 2 Diabetes (CDC-approved curriculum). Participants will learn skills to improve their diet, increase physical activity, and manage stress. Participants will go through the program with a trained lifestyle coach and will have the support from other participants with the same goals.
The FREE program begins on June 30th and meets weekly for 16 weeks, then bi-weekly, and then monthly for the remainder of the time. All meetings will be hosted virtually through WebEx so this program is open to everyone regardless of geographic region. A link will be sent via email prior to the first session.
