CTE instructors transported a Bobcat skidsteer loader with a set of pallet forks to help unload the trailer as well as a hand pallet jack and a battery-powered pallet jack to help move the pallets around.
“Unloading this large delivery would have taken hours without the help of CTE. Their assistance will let us spend the rest of the day focusing on getting food packed and delivered to our neighbors who are struggling,” EOC Executive Director Jo Anne Hume said. “We can’t thank CTE, Food Pantries for the Capital District and the Northeast Regional Food Bank enough for working with us to make sure that every family continues to have food on the table during this challenging time.”
The Pantry at EOC has switched a delivery-only model during COVID-19 to help ensure the health and safety of staff, volunteers and customers. If you are in need of a pantry delivery, please call 518-288-3206 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Kitchen is continuing to provide free to-go meals between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 3 – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian-New England Congregational Church, 24 Circular St., Saratoga Springs.
